Once all of the pieces had been cut, they were welded together and then filed to remove the excess flux. Galvanised steel is really nasty stuff to weld because the fumes are very bad for your lungs, but there was no other option here. If you're trying this yourself, make sure you wear a mask and weld in a well-ventilated room. After they finished this, the whole piece was polished.

This was then test fitted and holes were marked for the hose coming from the pump and reservoir. It fits perfectly!

These holes were then cut, de-burred and then filed down to remove sharp edges. The piece was then reinstalled in the case and tubing was routed through it to test.

The motherboard was then reinstalled so that they could start routing the tubing properly. Everything looked cool, so they started marking some more cuts that needed to be made on this cover.
